I sooo wish it snowed where we live. Its almost 80 outside today, and my girls are playing outside in shorts and flip flops. Doesn't fee like Christmas!

I'm in MN and I would be happy to give you some of our snow! I'm pretty sure we've got too much!

I love Chicago. I do, and I don't know if I ever want to move away, but I do miss the non-windy winters of Michigan. Looks like Oliver is having a blast in the snow!
You know, I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but my first memory of you (and you probably have LONG since forgotten) was when I was 16 and I was counseling junior high camp and your bed was right near mine. I thought you were one of the sweetest girls. I think Janie Case was near there as well. I miss EMD camp.

...and after the snow shoveling it was a hike on "the trail". Complete with deer tracks, squirrel tracks, rabbit tracks, "Granddad tracks" and throwing sticks into the water from the "little bridge"....Oliver told me to "Keep a sharp eye, Captain" as he hunted Reindeer with a stick (oh dear, lucky for Santa we saw none)!!! It was a BLAST!
