We woke up to a snowy scene this morning and, although we moved to Tennesee to get away from these kinds of mornings, we're enjoying the beauty and the quiet that this day brings.

Is it snowy where you are today?

Oh, Lord, I think you cursed us, because as SOON as I read this, it started snowing. On top of our 6+ inches already on the ground.

Love that baby boy face. Can't wait to see a baby girl face in that basket! Love you, too!

Oh, and how could I forget sweet Scout? We like to talk about The Scout from time to time. She is a favorite topic of conversation. (As is O's mustache. Still.)

Would you tell where your green trellis runner (I think it is a runner, hard to tell) is from? I love it!

Kate - the green trellis runner is from Pottery Barn. I bought it last spring but it makes wintery days feel brighter!

our first storm in Devember netted us 10+ inches. Since then, the most we've gotten is about 4". Love the pictures!

What's snow?! I am still in Arizona for three more weeks- it's 74 out. We spent the day at the park. :)

We got our once-a-year Georgia snowfall this weekend; everyone freaks out because no one knows how to drive in it...

It is beautiful, but it only lasts a day =)

It is actually snowing right now! We have over 2 feet from 2 previous snowfalls! and to be completely honest...I'm pretty crabby about more of it! It is so pretty, but we seriously have nowhere else to put it!

P.S. I'm new to following your blog, but I'm loving every word!

Blessings,

when isn't it snowy here?? I live in Calgary Alberta Canada...so yes, snow is the norm. I hate it very much. I remember the year my husband and i got married it snowed a couple days before our wedding...in August. Your snow looks much more tolerable then ours! ha.

Oh, how I miss the beauty of snow! We just moved from the Rocky Mountains (lots of snow) to Sunny Southern California. Today it was 75 degrees and we went to the beach, made me miss "home" a little bit less.

R,
I am new to your blog, so I apologize if this is a question you get often. I love the colors you use in your home, preferably the dining room color in the photo in this post. Can you tell me what the name of it is? Thanks so much, Best wishes on the new baby!

The color is Ralph Lauren Urban Loft/Urban Living, available at The Home Depot. :)
Take care!
