$31

Yes, it's time for garage sale posts again!

And yes, I realize it's Wednesday and I went garage sale-ing on Saturday... we're moving slow in the Myers' house these days... :)

It was definitely a successful trip for our first Saturday of the season! I was pretty geeked!

Here's the rundown of what I snagged:

$8.00 - Bumbo seat with tray - I'd just told Ry the night before that we should get a Bumbo seat for Hazel. What a treat to find one for eight bucks with a tray!!

$2.00 - itzbeen baby care timer - Brand new in the box! I've seen these before and wondered if it would be useful, so I figured I'd give it a try. I've used it for a couple of days now and I really like it! Very handy to keep track of how long it's been since I fed or changed Hazel or how long she's been sleeping. Works out well when my sleep-deprived Mommy brain can't even think clearly enough to put the orange juice in the fridge and not the pantry.

$4.00 - A-dorable Ralph Lauren top and jean skirt - it's for size 18 months, but I'm happy to wait. We'll have one cute toddler come next summer! :)
$1.00 - 3 pair of leggings

$1.00 - 5 pairs of pretty socks - man, girl socks and leggings are SO much cuter than boy socks!
And my very favorite purchase of the day...

$15.00 - a nearly new Kate Spade diaper bag!! - Isn't it pretty? I love green - and the best part is that Ry's willing to carry this one! :)

(complete with matching changing pad!)

So, have y'all started your garage sale seasons yet? Are you interested in linking up your posts on here again so we can share the joy through the summer? If there's interest, I'm in!

Happy spring!

Oh, and Happy 4 weeks to that little girl I adore.
(Is it just me or is she just wonderful?)

I'll admit it...I've been reading your blog for awhile now and never commented :) But I couldn't resist telling you I LOOOVE the Kate Spade bag!! And for $15?? Man, I need to go yard sale-ing more! I'm a Kate Spade junkie and I've been drooling over KS diaper bags for a few years now...we don't even have kids yet!

Total awesomness. :)

Our northern MN garage sale season is a tad on the short side.. but we're having a phenomenal insanely beautiful snow-free early spring. So I'm gearing up to have a sale with my mom & sisters! Can't wait to get out & find some goods.

My husband & I took a load of scrap metal to the recycle center yesterday. (We cleaned up unusable scrap material from his contracting business... AND we made $81 in doing so.) Anyway, while there, he was totally rolling his eyes at me, while I waited for our trailer of heavy metal to be unloaded I was in awe scanning the scrap yard & all it's contents. There were some treasures in there, I just know it!

Your Hazel is beautiful. :)

Yay! Good for you, girl! And, yes, I'd looooove to participate in garage sale posts! I'm a thrift-storer too - can we include those finds??? (PS. I would totally agree that pretty much girl EVERYTHING is waaaay cuter than boys stuff - praying our next one will be a girl - ha!)

I am so impressed with your finds! Fabulous--especially the diaper bag (so chic!)

And yes, Hazel is marvelous!

okay-- really. where do you live? where i live, all of those things would have been sold at a consignment store. people don't sell stuff like that at yardsales here. I am having a yard sale soon and am selling nothing like that. all of my good stuff I am trying to sell at consignment stores or craigslist.

You've got some swanky yard sales.

Wow! Those are some great finds. Around here you are not so much finding more than a bike with a rusty tire and some dust collectors. Very fun!

Oh, and how that little one is already four weeks old is beyond me. Time flys!

I LOVE garage sales. They are so much fun and my favorite thing to do on Friday and Saturday mornings! I can't believe you found that bumbo seat for only $8. That is amazing. I looked forever for one on ebay and they are very high. Great find!!!!

So....can we garage sale again when I visit? You know, on Southwest, I'm allowed 2 checked bags for free. :)

And yes, if you have a linky, I'll link. I found a lampshade for 50 cents last week, and I'm going to a multi-family sale this weekend. It's a slower start up here, but we're definitely reveling in spring. (It's going to be 85 here today!!)

Love you! Love that little baby girl. Isn't it fun to buy girl stuff now? It's in such nice condition!! I found a beautiful Gap plaid shirt dress for C at a consignment store last week that I swear was never worn. And then I turn around and all the toddler boys' stuff has scuffs and grass stains.

love, Stinky

ps: "Ambrati." It sounds like Italiano.

I love your finds. I agree that little girl socks are cuter than little boy socks! (I have a 2-month-old son.) And your Hazel is precious and adorable.

I think I am going to send you money to garage sale for me in your area. The ones I find, even in nice neighborhoods, have broken and overpriced items. I am so jealous.

She really is beautiful. And a Kate Spade diaper bag...two reasons to be jealous!
