We went with my sister's family and my Mom to a gorgeous vineyard right outside of Franklin on Saturday night for a picnic supper and to let the kids run and run and get all their wriggles out. The live music and gorgeous scenery were a perfect backdrop to the children running up and down the rows or grape vines and snacking on the sweet (and occasionally sour!) grapes. A lovely way to sit back and enjoy a summer evening in July!
(And yes, I took a hundred photos. Actually, three hundred and fourteen. Be glad I can edit even as much as I do!)
Happy Monday, friends!

It is so sweet what good friends Oliver and Beatrice are. I loved the picture of them holding hands, and then the two of them smiling at each other on the swing. So precious.
This looks like the perfect way to spend a summer night!

Looks like a great picnic! We drove through the Franklin/Nashville area Saturday afternoon coming home from our vacation, and the weather was just perfect and I sat thinking what a beautiful place it would be to live. You are so blessed!
Your photos are SO SO beautiful. I am so envious of your camera and "natural eye." Also, a blogger question for you - how do you block your photos together like that? It looks so neat, and I would love to know how you do it! Thanks :)
Gorgeous pics! That Bea is so stunning!
Time For Lemonade (even though your comments keep not showing up!) - I put together these collages in Photoshop. I think PuglyPixel.com has Photoshop templates you can use (and I sometimes do). I just scraped these together myself. Glad you like them! :)

BEAUTIFUL pictures!! what a fun activity.
p.s. i would love to know what kind of camera you use?? we are looking into buying a new one...
The McKinleys - I use a Canon Rebel Xsi. I think it's a few generations old now since I got it two or three years ago. But it's a Canon and it's a digital SLR - this would probably be a comparable model: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CBKJGG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=finmyfee-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399369&creativeASIN=B001CBKJGG
The lens I used for the vineyard photos was a 55m f/1.8 prime lens (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00007E7JU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=finmyfee-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399369&creativeASIN=B00007E7JU) It usually runs right around $100 and it's my very favorite lens to use!
Gorgeous photos, darling children, beautiful family, luscious grapes, storybook day.
LOVE the last picture
