About Heidi & Finn: "At Heidi & Finn, we believe that kids should dress the way we do - simple, modern, timeless and classic! All of our patterns include a step by step tutorial with Clear, Simple instructions, full color photos, along with tips and tricks to make your project look great! All of our patterns are computer drafted - no hand drawn patterns here! They are clear and color coded for different sizes, all patterns include seam allowances and most patterns come with a easy to follow diagram for putting pattern pieces together."

What I like: These are perfect patterns whether you're beginning to sew or know your stuff and want to knock out some custom clothes for your kiddos. Their patterns really are easy to use. I ordered the Sweet Pocket Pinafore Pattern last week and it arrived in my email inbox within an hour! It was simple to print, assemble and cut out the pattern and the directions really were very clear. (They are also available for questions if you're having trouble understanding a step.)

Here's Hazel in her new pinafore. Despite her facial expression, I'm sure she really was appreciative. :)

I also made one for Beatrice in a coordinating fabric. They're both reversible, so so far, between the two of them, I already have four great summer tops for the girls!

More from Heidi & Finn: If you're just not a seamstress but love their patterns, you can visit Heidi and Finn Studio for ready-to-wear styles, including this pearl necklace pinafore pictured below:

(isn't this Girly Cardigan pattern lovely?)

Next on my list: I'm planning to tackle this Chic Cocktail Swinger Coat for Hazel for winter. I'm already on the hunt for the perfect fabric!

Erin - their patterns cannot be used for commercial sale. But, I'll bet you could contact them with a custom request - maybe they could make one for you! :)

Hi Raechel, I'm guessing your sister and brother in law are home with the boys! How are the boys doing? Are they feeling better?

Oooooh! That little coat will be adorable on Hazel! My Mama made a coat for me when I was little... and my Nora (close in age to Hazel) will wear it next winter!
