Oliver had his first day back to preschool yesterday after Christmas break and I didn't realize how much I'd gotten used to having him home! The morning felt so long with just one baby, and a couple of times Hazel and I just looked at each other as if to say, "what are we supposed to do now?".
He came home feeling very grown up and focused and set straight to work on his "homework" - finding six hidden bows on the Christmas gift worksheet. He was feeling pretty hardcore, though at one point he blurted to me in frustration, "I want to color presents really baaaaad and I have to find these fings first!"
I told him to skip ahead to coloring the presents. The "fings" could wait. :)
I'm so glad that sweet boy is mine!

He's darling :)
I love the sweater.
Please tell me you bought your Jenny Lind table and chairs somewhere and they weren't one of your amazing garage sale finds!
Jenny,
Yard sale three years ago. So sorry. :) If it helps, I had to give them a good sanding and a coat of paint!
That sweater!
He is too handsome in that sweater! Such a serious worker. Beautiful shots!
Pretty sure he could be in a Pottery Barn Kids catalog or something, especially with that gorgeous window behind him!
too cute! you have a handsome little heartbreaker on your hands! ;)
Sarah-Anne
He's adorable.
I'm devastated mine is back in school.
i know just what you mean--wednesday, when my four headed back to school--was a sad day indeed. (i was a teensy bit glad one of them stayed home sick today...ha.)
Tell that little boy that Groovy is so proud of him! Sweet, and so handsome!!
HA! My first thought was -only her child would have a crayon in hand that matched his outfit:) (Maybe it's just the way it looks in the picture, but I was still impressed!)
I just had to say that I love the first picture!
